About Us
The God & Work initiative was launched in 2014 as a way to help Christians understand the teachings of the Bible and its applicability to their daily lives.

God has a message for each one of us in the Bible, not only for our "church lives", but also for our daily lives at work, home or just around town.
The mission of the God & Work ministry is threefold:

To help the churches by providing workshops, Sunday messages or other speaking engagements that help members understand how to live out their faith at work, each & every day.

To help all Christians worldwide understand how the Bible applies to their work environment through the publication of books & reading plans available worldwide.
​

To clarify the teachings of the Bible for all believers for practical application in their lives, especially where these are not generally taught in church today.
​​
In all that we do, we strive to stay true to the word of God, relying on the Bible rather than those from the world around us today.

The God & Work workshops and publications are 100% Bible-based and intentionally non-denominational in appeal.

Our workshops, Sunday messages & publications have been used across a range of church settings - from the traditional Baptist church in Houston Texas, evangelical churches in Europe and a range of protestant churches in Africa.

The material is fundamentally Biblical and not based on any teaching of mankind. We draw on a rich repertoire of examples from the Bible, and minimize storytelling from people in the world today.
About our Teachings
Meet the Founder
ROLAND HEERSINK
​
Mr. Heersink is a former public company executive, company founder and engineer (among other things).
Some years ago, Roland left full-time employment for the entrepreneurial life, with an ear to hear what God might have in store.
Mr. Heersink is in his 60's, has been blessed with a marriage of 45+ years, has 4 children and 9 grandchildren together with his wife.
Roland's passion is to help fellow Christians see & understand what God's intentions might be for their life, especially in the workplace.
